Nothing about it is a font setting inside the game: the styled text is a different sequence of characters, which is why it keeps its look when you paste it into BGMI, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Battlegrounds Mobile India, published by KRAFTON, Inc. and launched on 2 July 2021, is the version of the game for players in India. It is a separate product from PUBG Mobile, with its own name rules and penalties, so a style that passes in one is not automatically fine in the other.

Every rename uses one Rename Card, and you can rename once per day. How long can a BGMI nickname be?
KRAFTON does not publish a maximum nickname length for BGMI, so any exact figure you see online is unofficial. What can be measured is that a styled name is longer than it looks. Many text fields count UTF-16 code units, and the letters in Unicode’s mathematical alphabets (𝓐, 𝔙, 🆂) take two units each, while a plain letter or a symbol such as 亗 takes one. The counter in our generator stops at 24 characters; that is this tool’s limit, not BGMI’s.

Which symbols does the BGMI name box actually accept?
No official list of accepted symbols exists for BGMI, so the only reliable test is pasting the name into the rename field. What differs between symbols is how they are built, and that predicts which ones cause trouble.
- Single-unit marks such as ༒ (U+0F12, Tibetan), ꧁ ꧂ (U+A9C1, U+A9C2, Javanese) and ☬ (U+262C) sit in Unicode’s Basic Multilingual Plane and take one unit each.
- Joining marks such as ᭄ (U+1B44, Balinese) attach to the character before them, which is why ᭄ always appears glued to a letter rather than standing alone.
- Two-unit characters — every emoji, the bracket pair 𓆩 𓆪 and styled letters such as 𝓐 or 🆂 — use twice the space.

Yes: BGMI can ban an inappropriate nickname or clan name for up to 90 days, and it can change the name without asking the player first. A decorated name is judged by what it says, so wrapping an insult in ꧁ ꧂ does not make it acceptable, and neither does spelling it with look-alike letters.

The phone showing the name has no font for one of its characters. The name itself is intact — players on other phones may see it perfectly — but if you want it readable everywhere, replace rare symbols with common ones such as ★, ♛ or 亗.
