Invisible Space for a PUBG or BGMI Name: Blank Space Builder

To put a blank space in a PUBG Mobile or BGMI name, copy a blank Unicode character from the builder above and paste it where the gap should go. How do I put a blank space in a PUBG or BGMI name?

Paste a blank character instead of pressing the spacebar. The ordinary space (U+0020) is the one character name fields are most likely to trim from the ends or refuse on its own, so players use other characters that look empty but are stored as something else.

1. Choose a blank. Start with the Braille blank (U+2800); the next section explains why.
2. Set the count. One blank makes a narrow gap; three to five make a visible one. The width you see depends on the font, not on the character code.
3. Add your words (optional). Type “PRO KILLER” and the builder replaces the space between the words with your chosen blank.

If you want decorated letters around the gap, style the name first with the generator on PUBGNickname or pick frames from the PUBG and BGMI nickname symbols page, then insert the blank between them.

Which invisible character actually survives in the name box?

No publisher document lists accepted blank characters, so nobody can promise one works. The Unicode data does show which blank is least likely to be removed or rewritten: U+2800 BRAILLE PATTERN BLANK. It is an ordinary symbol, it is not “default-ignorable”, and Unicode normalisation leaves it unchanged.

Three properties decide how fragile a blank is, and the table shows each one:

• Default-ignorable. Characters with this property are meant to be invisible and may be dropped by software that cleans text. The Hangul fillers, zero width space, word joiner, zero width joiner and non-joiner all carry it; U+2800 does not.
• Changed by NFKC. Normalisation form NFKC rewrites “compatibility” characters into simpler ones. U+00A0, U+2007 and U+3000 become an ordinary space, and U+3164 HANGUL FILLER is rewritten to U+1160. Any system that normalises names before saving them will quietly change these.
• Category. A space separator (Zs) is treated as whitespace almost everywhere; a symbol (So) such as U+2800 is treated as a visible character that merely has no ink.

One old favourite is worth ruling out: U+180E MONGOLIAN VOWEL SEPARATOR stopped being a space character in Unicode 6.3.0 (2013) and is now a format character, so guides that still recommend it are out of date.

Why does my blank name work on one account and fail on another?

Usually because the name went through different software, or because a different character was pasted. The blank that looks identical in both cases is often not the same code point.

• Different games. BGMI and PUBG Mobile are separate products with separate servers and rules, so a blank that one accepts proves nothing about the other.
• A keyboard or notes app swapped the character. Some apps convert a no-break space into an ordinary space when you paste and copy again. The name looks the same and is not.
• Normalisation or filtering changed between updates. A game that starts normalising names will turn U+3164 into a different character and U+00A0 into a plain space, even if they worked last season.
• A name made only of blanks. A field may treat a string with no visible character as empty. Adding one visible symbol is the simplest fix.

How do I copy an invisible character without losing it?

Copy it with a button, paste it straight into the game, and never retype or edit it in between. The builder’s Copy button puts the exact code points on your clipboard; the stats line tells you which ones.

• Tap Copy once and paste immediately. Copying something else in between replaces the clipboard.
• If you must store it, use a plain notes app and check afterwards that the gap is still there — select it and see whether the cursor moves.
• Do not trust your eyes. U+2800, U+3164 and U+3000 can all look like the same gap; only the code point tells them apart.

Can a blank name get me banned?

Blank characters are not named as a violation in BGMI’s Rules of Conduct or the PUBG Mobile EULA. What is covered is using extra characters to disguise an inappropriate word — BGMI’s rules say such a nickname is changed immediately. Does an invisible character count as a character?

Yes. Every blank is a real code point and uses space in the name. U+2800 and U+3164 each take one UTF-16 unit, the same as a letter, so five blanks cost as much room as five letters. Neither KRAFTON nor BGMI publishes an official maximum length.

Is the Hangul filler the same as a Korean letter?

U+3164 is classified as a letter in the Hangul Compatibility Jamo block, used as a placeholder in Korean text. That is why some systems accept it where they reject spaces — and why normalisation can turn it into U+1160.

Can I make my whole name invisible?

You can paste a name made only of blanks, but a field may treat it as empty, and friends will struggle to find you by name. Your player ID still identifies the account.
