A pro player style nickname is a decorated PUBG Mobile or BGMI name copied from, or modelled on, a name people have seen in a stream or a match — and it only works if every character is copied exactly. Below are real strings visitors shared under six names people search for, each taken apart character by character so you can copy the whole name or any single piece. We do not know which exact string any real player uses, and we do not publish player IDs; these are the community’s versions.
What exact characters does this player-style name use?
Each name below is a set of ordinary Unicode characters — look-alike letters, combining marks and symbols — and the tables list every one with its code point. Tap a name to copy it whole, or tap a single character in a table to copy only that piece.
Star Captain style names
Most shared versions keep the two words apart with a bullet (•) and swap letters for look-alikes from other alphabets. The most-liked one below mixes five sources in twelve characters.
The т (U+0442) is Cyrillic, the ι (U+03B9) is Greek and four letters are small capitals from the phonetic blocks, which is why the name looks like English but will not match a search for “star captain”.
| Character (tap to copy) | Code point | Unicode name | What it does in the name |
|---|---|---|---|
| U+0073 | Latin Small Letter S | plain letter | |
| U+0442 | Cyrillic Small Letter Te | styled letter (Cyrillic) | |
| U+1D00 | Latin Letter Small Capital A | styled letter (Phonetic Extensions) | |
| U+0280 | Latin Letter Small Capital R | styled letter (IPA Extensions) | |
| U+2022 | Bullet | decoration (General Punctuation) | |

| U+03B9 | Greek Small Letter Iota | styled letter (Greek And Coptic) | |
| U+0274 | Latin Letter Small Capital N | styled letter (IPA Extensions) |
Marco style names
Marco versions lean on width: full-width capitals (MARCO), Greek substitutes (MΔRCΩ) and joined-letter marks that sit over and under each letter.
The joined style in M͜͡A͜͡R͜͡C͜͡O͜͡S͜͡๖²⁴ʱ is two combining marks after every letter, so six letters become 22 code points.
Madara Uchiha style names
Madara Uchiha is a fictional character from Masashi Kishimoto’s manga Naruto; names inspired by him usually run the two words together in small capitals and add a short tag.
The tag ︵²ᵏ⁵ at the end of Mᴀᴅᴀʀᴀᴜᴄʜɪʜᴀ︵²ᵏ⁵ is a vertical-form parenthesis and three superscripts; under NFKC normalisation it collapses to the plain text “(2k5”.
Badshah style names
Badshah means emperor in Persian and Urdu, so these names are built like titles, often with a tiny prefix and a closing flourish.
The small ᶦᶰᵈ before the name spells “ind” in modifier letters, and ᭄ is a Balinese vowel sign used as a hook between prefix and name.
| Character (tap to copy) | Code point | Unicode name | What it does in the name |
|---|---|---|---|
| U+0F04 | Tibetan Mark Initial Yig Mgo Mdun Ma | decoration (Tibetan) | |
| U+1DA6 | Modifier Letter Small Capital I | styled letter (Phonetic Extensions Supplement) | |
| U+1DB0 | Modifier Letter Small Capital N | styled letter (Phonetic Extensions Supplement) | |

| U+0048 | Latin Capital Letter H | plain letter | |
| U+0FD0 | Tibetan Mark Bska- Shog Gi Mgo Rgyan | decoration (Tibetan) |
Lone Wolf style names
Lone Wolf names mark the gap between the words — 乛, a strike-through, or a wolf emoji at the end.
In ✼l̫o̫n̫e̫乛w̫o̫l̫f̫🐺➻❥ the arches under each letter are combining marks and the wolf is the only character that takes two UTF-16 units.
If what draws you to Lone Wolf is the mood rather than the name, the attitude and killer nicknames sorted by mood has a whole lonely and silent group.
Joker style names
Joker names are the most decorated of the six: frames on both sides, spaced capitals and the shaking effect made by a combining mark after each letter.
Every letter of 𝓙𝓸𝓴𝓮𝓻 comes from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, above U+FFFF, so five letters cost ten UTF-16 units before the frame is added.

| Character (tap to copy) | Code point | Unicode name | What it does in the name |
|---|---|---|---|
| U+0F3A | Tibetan Mark Gug Rtags Gyon | decoration (Tibetan) | |
| U+1D4D9 | Mathematical Bold Script Capital J | styled letter (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) | |
| U+1D4F8 | Mathematical Bold Script Small O | styled letter (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) | |
| U+1D4F4 | Mathematical Bold Script Small K | styled letter (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) | |
| U+1D4EE | Mathematical Bold Script Small E | styled letter (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) | |
| U+1D4FB | Mathematical Bold Script Small R | styled letter (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) | |
| U+0F3B | Tibetan Mark Gug Rtags Gyas | decoration (Tibetan) |
Side by side, the six measured names show how far a pro-style name can drift from its plain spelling:

How do I copy a pro player style name correctly?
Copy it with a button, paste it without editing, and check it in a notes app before you spend a Rename Card. Almost every “it came out wrong” problem is a character lost between the copy and the paste.
- Use the copy button on the name, not a long-press on the text. Selecting by hand often misses a combining mark or an invisible character at either end.
- Paste into a notes app first. If the result looks shorter or plainer than the original, something was dropped; copy again.
- Turn off autocorrect while pasting. Some keyboards replace look-alike letters or “fix” spacing the moment you touch the field.
- Paste in one go into the game. Typing extra letters between decorative pieces can split a combining mark from the letter it belongs to.
Copies can also go the other way: some Cyrillic and Greek letters are pixel-identical to Latin ones, which is how exact-looking imitations of a name are made. We measured which 39 letters do this in our look-alike letter test.
How do I build the same name with my own text?
Keep the recipe — the frame, the alphabet and the tag — and swap only the word. Every rebuilt name in this table was produced by the same styling engine as the generator at the top of this page.
| Recipe | Pro-style original | Rebuilt with Rahul, Arjun and Priya |
|---|---|---|
| Word + dot + word in Small Caps | ||
| ༄ + tiny ind + ᭄ + name + ࿐ | ||
| Frame ༺ ༻ around Bold Script | ||
| Small Caps + ︵ + superscript tag | ||
| Gothic name + squad tag | — | |
| Outline letters between blades | — |
For the full set of alphabets to choose from, the guide to PUBG nickname fonts lists every alphabet side by side, and the frames and tags on their own are collected on the PUBG and BGMI nickname symbols page.
Why does the copied name look different in my game?
Usually because your device draws the characters with different fonts, not because the copy failed. The text is identical; the picture of it is not.

- Missing font: a character from a block your phone has no font for — Mathematical script letters, Balinese or Tibetan marks — appears as an empty box.
- Different font: the same small capital or Greek letter is drawn thinner, wider or taller by another font, so a name that looked tidy on one phone looks uneven on another.
- Stacked marks: combining marks are positioned by the font. One font places the arches under a letter neatly; another lets them collide.
- Normalisation: a system that applies NFKC turns full-width and superscript characters back into plain ones, which is why ︵²ᵏ⁵ can reappear as “(2k5”.
Marks that pro-style names reuse
Three kinds of marks turn up again and again in the names above — stars and ranks, blades, and moon-and-wing combinations — plus the salute and victory faces squads trade in chat. Copy one to add the same finish to your own name or message.

Questions about pro player names
Is copying a pro player name against the rules?
Styling your name after a player you admire is common. Presenting yourself as that player is different: impersonation is a reason names get removed, both in games and in this site’s own library. Adding your own word or tag keeps it clearly yours.
Which pro names are actually impossible to reproduce?
Very few, if you copy rather than type. The hard ones are names that use a character your keyboard cannot produce and that you only ever saw in a video, or names that depend on a font your phone does not have. Copying the text itself, not a screenshot, avoids both.
What is Star Captain’s PUBG ID?
We do not publish player IDs or claim to know which account uses which name. The Star Captain versions on this page are ones visitors shared, not an official in-game name.
