This changelog lists every change to pubgnickname.com that affects what you read or use — new pages, corrected facts, tool changes and removed content — newest first. Routine plugin updates are grouped into one line. Dates are in India Standard Time.

Home page and nickname generator

  • Corrected: removed the statement that PUBG Mobile names are limited to 14 characters. KRAFTON publishes no such figure; the 24-character counter under the tool is the tool’s own limit, and the page now says so.
  • Removed: links to other nickname websites and a claim that the name list had been taken from another site’s database. The page text is now our own, and the only outbound references left on the site are the publisher’s and the Unicode Consortium’s.
  • Corrected: the home page said PUBG Mobile is published by KRAFTON, Inc.; it is published internationally by Proxima Beta, while KRAFTON publishes BGMI. We also removed an unsourced line that PUBG Mobile renames accounts without warning, and corrected the Rename Card note: BGMI gives free cards through its Level 3 and Level 10 missions. The same corrections were made on the About and Terms of Service pages, where a 30-day penalty figure for PUBG Mobile — which belongs to the PC and console game — was also removed.
  • Added: a “PUBG nickname style” section on the home page that compares letter styles by measured length and by what NFKC normalisation turns them into, with answers on mixing styles and adding symbols.
  • Added: a table of common decorative characters with their code point, Unicode category, UTF-16 length and NFKC behaviour, read from the Unicode Character Database.
  • Added: 360 player-made nicknames, 384 kaomoji and 363 emoji combinations, sorted into themed groups. Entries containing slurs, sexual references, gambling terms or tags from other games were filtered out first.
  • Changed: nickname, symbol, emoji and kaomoji tiles now take the width of their own text instead of a fixed box, so long names are no longer cut off. On phones, the first result and its Copy button now appear without scrolling.

Site-wide

  • Changed: structured data now identifies the author of every page as the PUBGNickname editorial team, an organisation, rather than as a person.
  • Corrected: the footer no longer states a founding year or a country we cannot document.
  • Removed: an empty, unused page at /go now redirects to the home page; an empty “Recent comments” box was removed from article sidebars, since comments are switched off.
  • Plugin updates: Rank Math, Wordfence, Sucuri Security, Nginx Helper and Disable Comments.
