Terms of Service

PUBGNickname terms of service for the nickname generator and community library

PUBGNickname is a free tool with no accounts, no payments and no sign-up. These terms explain what you may do with it, what happens to a nickname you contribute, and — most importantly — why the name you choose here is still your responsibility once you put it into PUBG Mobile or Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

Using the site means accepting these terms

By using pubgnickname.com you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. There is nothing to cancel and no account to close, because we do not create one.

The service is the nickname generator and the community nickname library described on our about page. How we handle data is set out separately in our privacy policy.

The service is free, and provided as it is

Everything here is free to use, including for a name you use commercially — on a stream, in a clan, on a team roster. We charge nothing and we ask for nothing.

In return, we make no promise that the site will stay available, keep every feature, or produce a particular result. We may change how the generator works, add or remove style sets, or take the site offline for maintenance, without notice.

The name you choose is your responsibility in the game

We generate text. We do not control what any game accepts, and we cannot promise a name will work, survive, or be allowed. This is the single most important thing on this page.

The game publisher decides whether a PUBG Mobile or BGMI nickname is allowed, not PUBGNickname
We generate the text; the publisher decides whether it stands in the game.

The game publishers — not us — decide what is acceptable: KRAFTON, Inc. for BGMI, and Proxima Beta for PUBG Mobile. The consequences are real and they are theirs to apply:

  • BGMI can suspend an inappropriate nickname or clan name for up to 90 days and change the name without asking. PUBG Mobile’s published terms ban the same kinds of names but state no fixed number of days.
  • Changing a name needs a Rename Card, usable once per day. BGMI hands out free Rename Cards through early level missions; after that it is on you to obtain one.

Our input box caps names at 24 characters, but that is our tool’s limit — KRAFTON publishes no official character limit, and we do not claim one. A name that our generator produces may still be rejected by the game’s own input field, silently altered, or judged unacceptable later.

Do not choose a name intended to impersonate another player, to harass someone, or to evade a penalty. If you use this tool to build such a name, that choice and its consequences belong to you.

Rules for what may be posted to the PUBGNickname community nickname library
Anything you submit is published to the whole library — and can be taken down on report.

What you may not do with the site

Use the tool as a person using a tool. Specifically, you must not:

  • Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that impersonates a real person.
  • Submit someone else’s personal information — a real name paired with contact details, an address, a phone number.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or probe the site, its endpoints or its server, including automated scraping of the library at scale.
  • Attempt to inflate copy, like or rating counts by automated means, which corrupts the ranking for everyone.
  • Republish the library wholesale as your own dataset or service.

Copying individual nicknames is exactly what the site is for — take as many as you like, that is the point.

Nicknames you contribute

A nickname you submit becomes public immediately and is shown to every other visitor. It is counted, ranked and copyable by anyone. Do not submit anything you would not want published.

By submitting, you confirm you have the right to submit that text, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, rank and distribute it as part of the library, and to let visitors copy it. You keep whatever rights you had in it; short decorative strings of this kind rarely attract copyright at all.

Submissions are capped at 30 characters, are sanitised against code-injection patterns, and are checked so that something legible actually survives — a string made only of invisible characters, or one that arrives already corrupted, is refused.

How moderation actually works right now

We want to be precise rather than reassuring: there is currently no automated profanity, hate-speech or impersonation filter running on submissions. The engine has a banned-word mechanism, but its word list is presently empty, so it rejects nothing on those grounds.

What submissions do pass is a technical screen: an injection-pattern blacklist, WordPress sanitisation, a 30-character cap, and a legibility check that refuses corrupted strings and unreadable stacks of combining marks.

Moderation of meaning is therefore reactive, not preventive. We remove content when it is reported to us or when we find it ourselves. We may remove any submission for any reason, and we do not owe an explanation for a removal — though we will usually give one.

If you see something that should not be in the library, report it through our contact page and we will act on it. We treat impersonation of a real person, exposure of someone’s personal information, and abuse aimed at an individual as priorities.

Our own content

The wording, tables, explanations and images we publish are ours. You may quote a passage with a link back; please do not republish a page wholesale. The Unicode facts we cite are properties of the Unicode Standard and belong to nobody — check them yourself and use them freely.

Independence and trademarks

pubgnickname.com is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by KRAFTON, Inc., PUBG Corporation, Tencent Games, or Battlegrounds Mobile India. PUBG, PUBG MOBILE and BGMI are trademarks of their respective owners.

Nothing here is official guidance about either game. Where the publisher has documented a rule we say so; where it has not, we say that too rather than filling the gap with a guess.

No warranty, and the limits of our liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any name it produces will be accepted, kept, or free of consequence in any game.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including a suspended nickname, a renamed account, a lost Rename Card, or any penalty a game publisher applies to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The updated date at the top of this page changes with the content and is never adjusted to make an old page look current. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
